Each regulation that applies is checked requirement by requirement, not reduced to a single compliance chip. DPP readiness is scored for batteries, for iron, steel and aluminium, and for construction products.

It maps onto your own attributes and writes nothing until you approve, holding back a value that could not be read reliably, a figure the document contradicts elsewhere and a conformity claim the document denies. A rule set changes. You find out which products it broke.
The rules move on their own calendar: the Machinery Regulation applies from January 2027, the first battery passports are due a month later, and the iron and steel passport fields are still being drafted. When a rule changes, we update the rule set by hand and version it. Your catalog re-scores, and the alert names the products that developed a gap.
- Nine rule sets, the conditional ones run only when a document calls for them, so a standard hydraulic valve is not failed for an ATEX marking it was never meant to carry
- Encoded by hand from the regulation text and checked monthly against official EU sources
- Re-scoring reads data you already have: nothing is re-uploaded or re-extracted, and each flagged product opens on the regulations that failed
